Campsite summer volunteer

Youth For Christ Romania is an interdenominational ministry that wants to reach young people across Romania with the Gospel, together with the local church and other partners, and to disciple them to follow Jesus in all ways. It is composed of 30 staff working in 9 diff erent locations. Poarta Oilor is its main center, receiving 1000 kids during the Summer camps season, and staff retreats and church conferences during the year.

Location / Country:
Poarta OIlor, Garbova, Romania

Start: Every Summer between 15 to 30th of June until 1st to 31st September

Duration of assignment: 2 to 3 month

Description of assignement:
Every Summer volunteers will help in the logistic part of managing a campsite (help serve at the tables, clean rooms, cut the grass …). Depending on the gifts and competency of the candidate, different responsibilities might be given.

Requirements:
- The candidate need to be a born again christian
- He/she needs to come with a heart to serve the local team
- He/she needs to be open to Romanian culture
- He/she needs to speak English or Romanian
- Minimum age: 18

Accomodation option:
Volunteers will be housed and fed at Poarta Oilor

Costs and Funding:
approx. CHF 500 per month

Additional information:
We can receive up to 10 people each summer.
