EMI is an international mission development organisation made up of architects, engineers, surveyors, construction managers and other built environment professionals who use their skills to serve the poor and least reached worldwide.  

Function

The role combines technical expertise and management to lead project development, contracting, staff coordination, and strategic growth while mentoring staff and supporting key office functions.

Description of Assignment

- Lead the project development team in tracking staff availability, responding to project requests, selecting new work and generating project proposals

- Oversee and direct staffing of all project work

- Oversee all business development areas including marketing, DR/DRR, and grant writing

- Project-related travel 1-2 times per year

- Engage in spiritual and professional development through EMI's programs and opportunities
