Function
The role combines technical expertise and management to lead project development, contracting, staff coordination, and strategic growth while mentoring staff and supporting key office functions.
Description of Assignment
- Lead the project development team in tracking staff availability, responding to project requests, selecting new work and generating project proposals
- Oversee and direct staffing of all project work
- Oversee all business development areas including marketing, DR/DRR, and grant writing
- Project-related travel 1-2 times per year
- Engage in spiritual and professional development through EMI's programs and opportunities
